Phnom Penh / Richard Koh Fine Art
Pen Robit (b. 1991, Cambodia) has already developed a reputation and a following as one of the most exciting young painters working in Cambodia today. While his painting style has some similarities to Jackson Pollock’s drip technique, and he uses the same type of paint (enamel), his work is more representational, and the subject matter draws on local cultural iconography as well as current social and political issues facing Cambodia today. Robit earned a Diploma of Art from the Phare Ponleu Selpak Visual Art School in Cambodia and studied at the Pivaut Applied School of Art in France.
Pen Robit will be presenting his works at Richard Koh Fine Art.
