7 Dempsey Road, #01-04, Singapore 249671
Four maestros are colliding to create an unforgettable dining experience at the Michelin-starred restaurant Burnt Ends, Singapore’s most popular smokehouse!
Taking off from the Bastard Cookbook – a collection of preposterous recipes by Thai artist Rirkrit Tiravanija and Finnish chef Antto Melasniemi – “Bastard Cooking” will come to life in Southeast Asia for the first time, together with German sculptor Tobias Rehberger and Aussie chef-owner of Burnt Ends, Dave Pynt.
Expect a unique gastronomic journey with a mind-blowing mash-up of ingredients fused with Southeast Asian flavours, served out of special dinnerware crafted by Tiravanija and Rehberger.
After the dinner, these artist-made bowls will return – beautifully ‘dirtied’ – to Tanjong Pagar Distripark to be exhibited with neugerriemschneider as “Dirty Dishes” at S.E.A. Focus 2023’s a world, anew . They will be collected and owned by the respective diners after the end of the showcase.
Only very limited seats are available at SGD1,200++ per guest, which includes an artist-made dinnerware, a hand-dyed natural indigo napkin by Philip Huang, and the 8-hands dinner (excluding beverages).
Book now for this once-in-a-lifetime experience via emailing the number of seats required and names of guests to email@example.com.
The final details will be provided upon confirmation of participation, and payment is required to secure the spot.
