Pop-Up Art Destination: TWENTY TWENTY
10 January 2020 – 30 June 2020
10 January 2020 - 30 June 2020
Opening in conjunction with Singapore Art Week, the Former Ship Repairs Workshop and Warehouse will transform into a pop-up art destination. For six months, art audiences in Singapore can expect to see a bold, new art space take shape in this massive 20,000 square feet of heritage industrial factory space. Once the manufacturing workshop and yard for ship repairs, the ground floor will be repurposed as the main activity area, and will house the project’s main contemporary art exhibition opening with an artist line-up that includes local multi-hyphenate Dawn Ng.
Several arts patrons, young collectors and young leaders have already pledged their support for TWENTY TWENTY. Amongst them are local hospitality specialists Lo & Behold Group, who have expressed their participation as food & beverage support, and architectural and museum lighting Company, ERCO who is stepping in as lighting sponsor, all with the shared objective to collectively tell the unique stories and a distinct perspective this building has on the cultural landscape of our time.
The project is led by the Singapore Arts Club. Free admission. Click here for more information.
