Wetterling Teo Gallery
101 Cecil Street #26-08/12 Tong Eng Building SE069533
Founded in 1994 by Björn Wetterling and Daniel Teo, Wetterling Teo Gallery was among the pioneering galleries in Singapore fostering artistic exchange between Europe and Southeast Asia. Driven by a vision of collaboration , the gallery introduced landmark presentations of renowned Western artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Frank Stella and Andy Warhol—many shown in the region for the first time—while also nurturing a generation of young Singaporean artists through cross-cultural residencies and exhibitions. Though the gallery’s operations in Singapore have become quieter in recent years, its legacy continues through The Private Museum Singapore, founded by Daniel Teo. Wetterling Teo Gallery remains committed to fostering dialogue between artists and audiences across continents.
