Miyabi

Miyabi is a Thai-Japanese artist. Miyabi explores the quiet intersection of nature, spirituality, tradition, and philosophy—primarily through oil painting, but also throughout all her creative pursuits. Miyabi uses her art as an opportunity, a platform, to bring attention to matters she feels strongly about, from endangered species to threatened traditions. Her time living and studying her Bachelor’s in Milan and Paris played a formative role in shaping her creative and visual identity, resulting in her artistic direction being highly influenced by a blend of her Japanese roots and European culture. Miyabi’s works often carry elements of surrealism and visual sublimity. Within each piece, subtle cultural, spiritual, and historical references are intentionally used. For her, art is not just for the eyes, but for the soul.
