Noc Vvyne Lim
Singapore / Mr Lim's Shop of Visual Treasures
Noc Vvyne Lim (b. 1982, Singapore) holds a diploma in Fine Arts from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Her practice spans oil paintings, mixed-media pieces, public murals, and community projects. For SEA FOCUS, she proposes “A Stray Cat’s Abode,” a series depicting solitude and survival inside a forgotten warehouse she lived in for over a year. Created amid mental health challenges and economic hardship, these paintings serve as acts of endurance and a search for meaning. Three one-meter works reveal resilience and the quiet effort to find belonging within
concrete ruins.
